Our Mission
Founded in 2011, RMI – Risk Management for Investors is a private firm dedicated to preparing rural communities in Africa for commercial agriculture. We transform farmers into skilled entrepreneurs, equipping them with modern business practices to seize opportunities provided by investors. Simultaneously, we help investors view communities as trusted partners, fostering long-term value chains that improve livelihoods across Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Swaziland, South Africa, and Mozambique.
Our History
Over the past 14 years, RMI has successfully completed over 30 large-scale projects, impacting more than 10,000 households. Operating from Mauritius, with registered companies in Swaziland, South Africa, and an operation center in Tanzania, RMI brings expertise in crops like maize, rice, beans, tea, coffee, sugarcane, and vegetables. Our multi-disciplinary teams, including local youth and experts, drive innovative solutions through coaching, training, and practical support.
